She is passionate about fostering a deep understanding of our clients and their families’ key issues and unique circumstances. Debra offers thoughtful and objective advice, serving as a guide, coach, and trusted advisor.

She creates a personalized Financial Vision, Roadmap and Investment Policy Statement; all foundational to the portfolio management process. Debra recognizes that a personalized financial plan sets the stage for the development of a long term wealth strategy. She welcomes the opportunity to work with our client’s other expert advisors in a team approach to total wealth management.

Debra has been serving clients since 1986. She holds the following designations: Chartered Investment Manager, Trust and Estate Practitioner, Chartered International Wealth Manager, Professional Financial Planner and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute.

In 1996, Debra became Branch Manager of a predecessor Investment firm in Edmonton and, in 1998, she was awarded Manager of the Year for Canada.

From 1996 to 2001, Debra provided financial and investment insights for the listeners of CBC Radio One on a weekly segment called FundWatch.

Debra is the Edmonton Chair of CIBC Children’s Foundation and Vice President of Compassion House Foundation. She is a past Director for STEP, an international organization, Camp Health Hope and Happiness and iHuman Youth Society.

A proud mother of six children and Nana to four, Debra enjoys family time, backcountry hiking, skiing, crosswords, cooking and reading.
