Garden season is upon us, and it’s the perfect time to talk about something close to our hearts – the bees! Our team values sustainability and of course, we love the delicious local food that comes from our province. Bees contribute to successful farming and help the earth thrive.

We just had to share this fun play on words with you all: ‘Bee the change you want to see in the world.’ Like the popular quote, this reminds us that change starts at home. By enjoying your garden this season, whether it be planting flowers or fruits and vegetables, it’s wonderful that we can each play a part in helping the earth. The flowers and food products that your garden yields are a great benefit to you, but also help the birds, the bees and other beneficial insects. These plants also improve our overall air quality. So much good comes of a garden!
Like many of you, The Wooding Group loves seeing spring flowers in full bloom. Additionally, a garden favourite of our team are Sun Gold tomatoes, which in Debra’s words are “absolutely scrumptious – as sweet as candy.” Here’s a great article about growing Sun Golds in Edmonton.
We hope you have received the wildflower seeds sent by our team to celebrate the start of the season. If not, watch for them in your mailbox! Happy Earth Day from all of us at The Wooding Group.
